GTDC Annual European Conference

Each year, the GTDC brings together the senior management of Europe's leading IT distributors with the region's top vendor channel executives to focus on issues and opportunities of vital strategic importance. This year's GTDC Annual European Conference, June 15-16 at the Amsterdam Radisson Blu, drew more than 100 attendees, representing 31 vendors and 19 distribution companies, which included presidents as well as CEOs of GTDC members. GTDC CEO Tim Curran presented key sales trends in Europe and the U.S., showing the respective pace of industry recovery in the regions as well as market categories that are improving the most in the current economic environment. Compelling vendor and distributor panels covered a full range of topics such as the expanding role of IT distributors in cloud computing and current market conditions in Europe, including what attendees consider the most promising areas for increased engagement and collaboration. Extensive networking time added to the unique overall experience at the GTDC Annual European Conference, scheduled for June 21-22 in 2011.
