The Global Technology Distribution Council represents a consortium of the world's largest wholesale information technology distributors. The companies participate in the Council in a variety of ways. Some of the distributors' top executives sit on the GTDC's Executive Committee, which acts as a steering organization for the group. Others have provided senior-level staffers for the GTDC's Communications, IT Security and Compliance committees.
The 12 members of the Global Technology Distribution Council represent the industry as a whole. Eight of the GTDC's member companies are U.S.-based organizations; four have their headquarters outside the U.S. Each of the Council's member companies has a significant profile and has established itself as a leader in the world of IT distribution. |
